azumariell asked: What do you think about the prequels?
I actually love the prequels
Anonymous asked: I think it is a TERRIBLE idea to make more Star Wars movies. The central story of Star Wars, in my opinion, was completed in the 1st 6 movies (i.e. the story of the rise, fall, and redemption of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, also the archetypal conflict between the light and dark sides of The Force). Making more movies set after ROTJ cheapens the franchise, waters it down, takes away from the perfect symmetry of the saga as it exists now.
I completely agree. I can understand why they would want to continue playing out the storyline, however at this point it’s simply a matter of exploitation. Don’t we all wonder, “what happens next?” after any film? However, you can’t continuously create new films without becoming completely focused on the franchise & not the story. I hardly doubt any film will measure to the beauty of the first six. With that said, I don’t want to be a debbie downer or hater, & therefore will still hold some hope that they’ll be great. . .

Honestly, yes. Especially under such a corporate belt. But it happens, and we can only hope they’ll be as greatly written as the Star Wars we’ve all come to know and love
